Scotland 6 is the sixth and final level of the Scotland track featuring the rally car. It is raced in the opposite direction of the preceding three levels, aligning only with Scotland 2. It again takes place in a rainy setting, and the difficulty is heightened with the addition of two sets of boulders, bringing the total count to three.

This race is also available in Split-Screen mode where it is referred to as Scotland B. In this mode, the race contains only two laps instead of three.

Starting Positions[]

1 Roberts 2 Lumiere 3 Ahmed 4 Baptiste
5 Xu 6 Rossi 7 Morgen 8 Ivanov

Race[]

Scotland's final level uses the same racetrack as Scotland 5, albeit with intensified slipperiness on the roads. AI opponents adopt a more cautious approach, braking heavily around every corner. This allows for easier overtakes by those with greater turning speed, leading to a frequent shuffle in AI positions throughout the race.

The first half of the track demands focus and precision, as racers must clear the barrierless pond stretch, three sets of boulders, and two deadly ramps within a two-mile span. Casualties among the AI are common at the pond stretch, notably affecting aggressive drivers like Ivanov and Baptiste. Ivanov, however, also stands as a top AI contender, provided he does not fall Out at this stretch. Along with Xu, their superior agility around corners allows them to steadily overtake their rivals, but their resurgence often falls short of toppling AI Roberts for victory.

After clearing the first half of the track, the player should capitalize on the second half to accelerate and overtake the AI. Nevertheless, careful driving remains crucial when navigating the winding stretch preceding the forked forest, as well as the forest section itself. A single blunder at the winding stretch could nullify the progress made from speeding.

Similar to Scotland 5, the player can utilize the lethal ramps to strategically eliminate opponents from the race.

AI Speed Table[]

Below are the AI speeds in the Grand Tour Racing '98 version; speeds may differ in Total Drivin or other versions. The table represents the AI's straight-line speeds and does not account for individualized behaviors or specific car mechanics, such as driving accuracy, turning speed, and acceleration. Note that speeds listed as "Max" might vary depending on the vehicle; for example, while Ahmed's top speed is 140 mph.
