Moscow 5 is the fifth level of the Moscow track, reintroducing the sports car with a substantial speed upgrade. It is raced in the same direction as Moscow 2 and 3.
This level introduces an expansive ramp that stretches across the road, spanning a large body of water. Positioned early in the lap before Gorky Park, the ramp effectively replaces the constricting barriers from the prior level. Overall, the track appears to be an enhanced version of Moscow 2, except that it is raced under clear weather conditions.

Race[]
In Moscow 5, the player is likely to encounter a minor pileup as the race begins, often triggered by the slow accelerators, AI Lumiere or Roberts. The early appearance of the expansive ramp brings many cars into close proximity, increasing the chances of collisions and failed attempts to clear it. Crossing the ramp necessitates a minimum speed of _ mph, making any mishaps disastrous for the player and AI opponents. In addition to the ramp, half of the track within the second tunnel is now obstructed, demanding careful maneuvering to navigate through.
Sports cars in Moscow 5 have their top speeds boosted to around 200 mph. While slower than their Indy counterparts, these sports cars possess distinct characteristics, offering a unique driving experience that can either challenge or aid the player. For instance, cars with slow acceleration suffer major setbacks when required to restart from a standstill, while those with weaker stability struggle when colliding with stronger vehicles, often leading to crashes.
AI strengths are influenced by both their assigned speeds and their turning speeds. Those adept at maneuvering corners emerge as top contenders, often surpassing their slower rivals at critical turns. Lumiere, Roberts, and Baptiste stand out as particularly swift drivers, although any poor start from the early pileup could keep them behind in the ranks, with limited chance of recovery. Xu, on the other hand, benefits from a favorable starting position in 2nd place, allowing him to focus on overtaking the cautious frontrunner Ivanov, who almost always falls two to four spots during the race. Despite the varying turning speeds of the AI, it is the restricted assigned speeds that provide ample opportunities for the player to gain ground.
AI Speed Table[]
Below are the AI speeds in the Grand Tour Racing '98 version; speeds may differ in Total Drivin or other versions. The table represents the AI's straight-line speeds and does not account for individualized behaviors or specific car mechanics, such as driving accuracy, turning speed, and acceleration.
