Hong Kong presents a racetrack that winds along the city's Pacific Rim, designed for the performance of sports and Indy cars. Serving as the home track for Team Xu, it hosts the sixth and final race in Season mode.
1997 Manual Description[]
An expansive, yet twisting track with numerous folks makes now-Chinese Hong Kong perfect for conditioned speedsters. Here, you will compete in either sports or Indy cars, which, with their quick bursts of speed and tight cornering, are perfect for these courses. As you tear through the Pacific Rim, watch out for road construction near Hong Kong International Airport, sudden shortcuts through rice paddles, and Asian pedestrians in the bustling market district.
Overview[]
Hong Kong's track is a unique blend of city and countryside landscapes. It features sports cars in the opening two and closing two levels, with Indy cars taking their place in the middle stages. Initially, racers navigate a swift four-mile route through bustling city highways. As the final stages approach, an additional track emerges, guiding racers through the countryside, complete with narrow passageways weaving through rice fields. Rainfall becomes increasingly frequent in the latter half of the series, making an appearance in three races overall.

Cheats[]
To unlock all Hong Kong levels without winning any races, the player can enter a cheat code within the main menu by tapping R1 to the rhythm of the pan flute that plays at the section between the spiral turn and forked tunnel. If entered correctly, an engine sound will blare and all Hong Kong levels will be unlocked. Alternatively, the player can tap R1 to the rhythm of "Ding dong the witch is dead, the witch is dead, the witch is dead" to unlock all levels within the game, including Hong Kong.
