Egypt 7 is the extra level of the Egypt track. It features a modified version of the Indy car, marked by its larger wheels required for traversing the rugged and sandy landscape. The player can attempt this race by collecting the orange orb found in Egypt 1.
This level presents a track that closely resembles Egypt 5. Although it is an Indy race, the starting positions are arranged in the Easter Island order, with Baptiste once again taking the frontrunner role.
Starting Positions[]
1 | Baptiste | 2 | Ahmed | 3 | Roberts | 4 | Lumiere |
5 | Ivanov | 6 | Xu | 7 | Rossi | 8 | Morgen |
Race[]
Egypt 7 is a two-lap race on a track that mirrors Egypt 5. Indy cars take the stage, equipped with larger wheels and reduced top speeds of around 160 mph. Driving at high speeds is unnecessary on such a track, considering these cars still outpace the standard Dakar vehicles by a significant margin. With the exception of AI Rossi in Lap 2, all opponents drive no faster than 108 mph across both laps.
Similar to Egypt 5, players who have unlocked the "forbidden zone" cheat can attempt an early shortcut that allows bypassing a large portion of the bumpy stretch. However, attempting the precise leap over the barrier carries the risk of propelling the player Out of the race.
Despite Rossi's Lap 2 speed of 145 mph, his sluggish Lap 1 performance largely eliminates him from contention. Thus, the player's primary adversaries remain AI Baptiste and Ahmed, the frontrunners occupying 1st and 2nd, respectively. Their slow pace allows Egypt 7 to be won without much difficulty, provided the player navigates the barrier-free Valley of the Kings with caution.

Below are the AI speeds in the Grand Tour Racing '98 version; speeds may differ in Total Drivin or other versions. The table represents the AI's straight-line speeds and does not account for individualized behaviors or specific car mechanics, such as driving accuracy, turning speed, and acceleration.
